First there was Sponge Bob, the ginger tom who weighed in at 33lb. Now another massive moggie, Garfield the 40lb feline, has claimed the dubious title of world's fattest cat. The obese cat was brought into North Shore Animal League of America in Long Island, New York, after his owner sadly passed away. Staff have put him on a diet in the hope he can lose 15 to 20lbs.
